Beautiful composition as always.

Reminds me of a scene from a Hitchcock movie and interesting seeing the Delta 3200 pushed. Love the way you have captured the rain adding to the atmosphere here.

Sorry it does look like a scene-of-crime picture but maybe I've seen too many real ones. Good starting point to develop into less soc looking experiments though.

Rinaldo - I feel it works exceedingly well! The lighting, range of textures and tones are very much what are needed for a b&w, yet the colour has added a real impact. Her pose and the tight crop makes her 3-dimensional and full of mystery. Many very good pictures in your portfolio as well!

Byron, I'm with you on the horizontal horizon, why does everyone look at the horizon instead of the picture? Because they are pre-programmed that the world is flat and that if there is an horizon it has to be a landscape. Where the hell has the creativity and imagination gone with so many people when they try to capture a feeling rather than a scene. Beautiful picture with all the elements coming together to give a powerful yet natural look.

Alessio, in critiques you will get all sorts of criticisms if people comment lol. However back to the picture this one is much better than the previous one. I like the flowing curves and the exposure is much more complimentary to your model. Not sure about her left foot in the frame, but the composition is very pleasing.

Narrr more shots are missed than captured and just think without the finished pictures they were all perfect, just like the fish that got away ;-) LOL

It's a wonderful family moment captured, as a photograph the highlights are distracting in the trees and the action is too far away.

For me it works very well. I clicked on it to see who "Dave" is/was and why he is/was saying "no". A 28mm or 35mm lens would have nailed it but still very nice.

Alas I did similar a few weeks ago when I went out without my camera just for a change. I then spent 30 minutes watching a house fire, family, dog and hamsters evacuated safely and seeing the shots with nothing to capture them with ;-) I'm sure we will see many much more interesting pictures than those football fans very soon (if your pool isn't full yet LOL)

Beautifully nailed!

Pedro, both yourself and Loft have this wonderful ability to crate the most beautifully artistic pictures from nothing. I would have had to put a model in this setting, but you have created with what was there. My compliments.

Now your making me even more jealous, when I saw it was taken in Reading my heart jumped as I thought "yes at last" ... then I saw it was the one in Pennsylvania which is a little far to travel to lol
We have so many events in the UK this time of year related to D-Day and the 749 US military personnel who were lost in Exercise Tiger near here at Slapton, training for D-Day, but alas none of them include the kind of thing you have here.

Your tempting me again LOL Enjoy that match there will be many wonderful public displays of emotion on the faces and in the body language of those looking at the pitch to capture ;-)
-
Joe, I am SO JEALOUS, I've been searching for ages for an event in the UK like this and I've come up with nothing close. Wonderful modern interpretation of this genre in your folder as well! I must dig out my colour version with a twin-cockpit spitfire similar to your prop picture sometime :-)
-
I was expecting to see an artistic interpretation of 2 empty Champagne glasses glinting in your beautiful sun by now LOL

Pedro, few would try such bright colours with a semi-nude, but you make it work.

I'm sure your both going to come back with some wonderful works of art from the match to post here for us all to enjoy. Just remember that the ball your about to shoot from a new angle has a large boot heading for it lol Have fun both of you and remember to drink plenty in that heat :-)

Isn't that what auto-focus was created for? So that we still didn't miss those shots ... unlike some ;-) LOL
