No easy subjects, I could only take one quick snap shot. I am

wondering if I should have put the focus on the other punk or if it

looks more interesting the way it is. Comments?

This photo was taken in downtown Frankfurt. Looking for interesting

street photography subjects I came across a fastfood restaurant and,

looking inside, I discovered this wistful looking old woman. Using a

sophisticated and inconspicuous approach I quickly took a picture

without her noticing. Only when I got back the developed film I noted

that I had also taken a accidental self-portrait. Although this photo

has its flaws I like it very much and think it has its own charm.

This shot was taken on the Museumsuferfest, a huge "cultural" carnival

with dozens of stages and hundreds of vendors and food stalls. One of

this stalls used this guy to advertise their hemp products and dope

paraphernalia. I asked him whether he doesn't want his picture taken,

but was very relaxed and allowed it.

The W䬤chestag is an annual local holiday with a carnival in the

forest around Frankfurt. It is supposed to be big fun, but I find it

quite triste.

My friend thinks this picture sucks.... but I like it (especially the

colors).
