Autumn Grass

jeg

This photo was taken at the edge of a forest in the Taunus area. It is one of my first pictures taken using a reverse adapter ring and I was just fascinated how close to the grass/flowers I could go. Because I was just practising and it was a little windy I had a hard time putting the focus were I wanted it to be, but I still love this picture.
The photo was taken handheld with the lens mounted in reverse position using the adapter, metering was done with the Nikon F50 (N50) and a autofocus lens by my friend, because the N65 could not meter with a manual lens (or the adapter ring) on the camera. Shutter speed was around 1/60th second, aperture was f/1.8. The image is cropped.

This kind of picture with a MF and a 1.8 aperture is a challenge! And you made something very very good. Great colors and composition, mysterious and fragile feeling.
