FOG --
by Carl Sandburg
(1887-1967)
The fog comes
on little cat feet.
It sits looking over
harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.

One of the very best, Alec, congrats!

Thanks, Eddie, now it's gone. I wasn't sure at the first if I should take it out or not. :D

"Miles Davis once asked Keith Jarrett if he knew why Miles stopped playing ballads. Miles' reply was because he liked them. Self-repetition destroys innovation."
You see, Kevin, that's why I stopped abusing instruments, just love music too much, now I am abusing cameras. :D
Jokes aside, I think that's a wonderful statement you made and your photos tell me that your words are from your heart. Congratulations again for a job well done here.

Thanks in advance -- Again.

This is a great iighting. 7/7
I barely figured out how you used the light in one of the photos, then you came up with many new ideas. Hopefully I would see you someday and learn from you in person. :D
Thanks for sending me these newsletters. Best wishes.

I am glad for the fact that people like Sascha's style -- or I would be learning from a wrong guy. I receive his monthly newsletter, and hopefully I would get a chance to see him in person in Germany.
What I am trying is the light setup, which shoots against the white background and bounces back to the dancer; wrap around the extremities to portrait a skinny feel. Of course, it goes without saying that my model is perfect already.
Thanks Jim for the kind comments. Regards. -- Ray

Like this one, but IMHO it might have stronger impact if there was more space on the left side. Cheers. :D
