The Only suggestion I would have here is to either include her entire head, or crop closer in. As is, it feels like it was accidental.

Beautiful portrait with a lot of personality! I like your composition with one qualm - the eyebrow that's out of the frame. Either way though, beautiful, and you have great contrast as well.

Back again, it's been quitea while. I wanted to ask if you used a filter on your lense for the effect with the lightsorif that was photoshopped? I'd love it if you stopped by and checked out my new stuff - most of my good stuff is my film (i switched and dontown a scanner)but i have scanned a few (on the crappy library scanner... keep in mind).

Just so you know, I have stopped rating for the while and on the rare occasion I do rate I 'try' to give good reason. Yep - this might be connected to you comments, but you'll never really know will you. (hint of humor in the last statement, no offense intended - could even be seen with a wink attached) I do appreciate you through critiques whether good or bad you are very honest and I admire that. I would love if you could critique my photos.

I like this, but I would make a few changes. The eye on the right is cut off.If this iscropped, you might want to try including it. Also, by keeping only the blue in her eyes, it looks like she's almost wearing contacts since they have a similar effect. If you can inclue the rest of the color in her eyes it might have a stronger effect. Over all I like it- I think the eyes are the most expressive part of a person, but you could tell that from my portfolio =).

Looks like it should be in a J. Crew catalog! I like it.

I say this is not an original image. That is my opinion and I do not go around slapping down ratings - I only rate something if the picture catches me for some reason. This picture did - it is pretty. Very pleasant. But then, there a a thousand pictures of lakes... and a thousand more with ripples in them. This is not original in my eyes, but then we all have our opinions don't we?

This is a rathe runinteresting image. The background is very dull and does not work with the model and the expression on her face and the pose are uninteresting.

This needs to be resized.. but it is a nice picture.

I rated the way I did for a few reasons. Before I comment though, I'd like to tell you that I am not a professional photographer (not by a long shot) and I still have a lot to learn - hence why I do not comment on a lot of pictures I rate. When I do rate, I rate the pictures in comparison to the work of other photographers on this site.

The asthetics were ok, but not anything special. The bridge is not centered (if you had a reason for that, I can not tell)and the light are neat yes, but not that neat.

As far as originality - usually architecture pictures are impressive because they are impressive structures to begin with. In this case, the structure is not that impressive. Also, the pictures I rate high for originality in general have an odd angle that shouldn't work with the picture but did, or is a successful diversion from sunsets and flowers.

I do not mean to offend in any way, and everyone has their own cup of tea. This is a nice picture, but average compared to the rest of the pictures on this site.

Really needs to be resized, but it is a great picture.

The picture is a bit small to really see detail. Very cute, but a bit white - then again, I rate according to the way the photo makes me feel, nothing professional here.
