Wow nice stuff on Kelly Jones flickr
-
http://www.technicalphoto.com/ Tech Photo Imaging Fairfiled NJ - I give em 5 stars (out of 5)
-
I like PixelGenius

Photoshop (actions especially) is like cologne. If you think you may be wearing too much -you are wearing too much.
-
I'd love to see a film only section, for us dinosaurs.
-
I think they are slpendid photos. My only observation is inconsistent colors (skin tones) going from shot to shot. Otherwise lovely stuff.

Another Great Post Marc - Thank you again!
I find myslef getting so much more satisfaction out of film images lately. I look fwd to applying some of Marc's scanning tips.
-
Kudos to the top 3!
Marc I'd have sworn that was your LeicaM with C41 B&W
Guess digital (when done right) can fool us these days.

Marc reminds me of the following Jeff Foxworthy line"...my wife does not seem to be aware that it IS legal for women to purchase gasoline in this state"
-
Demb. (and btw I have them all)

I just used West Coast Imaging and was floored at how good the work is. It's not cheap but it's amazingly good.
-
'...and a better medium...' You know that'll start a flame war don't you? I'm trying like heck to shoot more film, because ten hours is a low figure. Plus I like it more!
-
I agree ...harumph...$30 for an info-mercial....and the pictures were pretty bland...IMHO
-
Leo nice stuff! Reminds me of the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I am shooting both with a preference for film...but, and this is a big but....I am so dissatisfied with the labs I've tried/used, that I need to find another. Advice anyone?

Beau...I laughed out loud at the 'waxy' comment. That's the term I have been searching for....the way people look like waxed fruit. I also got quite a chuckle from the Stephen's 80's comment...all that is needed is a sunset backlight to make it toally 70's.
-
Nice work especially considering the circumstance!
-
Yikes Melanie - what great stuff - keep it up!
Marc Williams = so sick of sitting at the puter? I hear ya.
Now for my dilema...my most recent wedding was all digital at the brides request. I was thrilled with the shots. I thought to myself well I guess it's digital from now on. Then, I received some prints from West Coast Imaging....Holy Smokes! That's what a 35mm print is supposed to look like? Now what to do? I know, I know, shoot both. But I feel like one can't serve two masters....Not a film vs. digi rant just a personal dilema

Old? I bought it in July.

I agree with Colleen on two issues.
1) I did not care for the Canon L.
2) 'I know you are but what am I'.
-
Listen to Nadine.....This is the MOST important thing you'll ever read on the subject....'You have to ride the flash compensation dial all the time...' and '...there is no 'set it and forget it'.
-
Thanks I'll try 'erasing' the camera contacts and the lens contacts. The odd part is, it is only this lens and only on this body....all other lenses on this body are AOK. This Body with all other lenses is AOK. Hmm...
