Yeah, I didn't notice it was a range-finder until after I made the comment. I've never paired a range-finder with a polarizer either. Not sure how that would work. I guess you'd probably need to bracket a bunch to find the right setting for the filter. Seems like an interesting subject to bring up in the forums. Someone on the site probably has plenty of experience using that combination.

Very nice! It's rare to see anything very original when it comes to fashion shots. I like how the stair steps in the building beyond her echos the curve of her body. Nice look on her face too. Overall, it's a cut above the normal, rote fashion shot.

Not bad, but I find the Photoshop blur a little distracting.

Great shot! I like how it suggests a story. Good composition too. I'm not really feeling the sepia treatment though. I wonder what it would look like in flat black and white... or in full color.

Excellent frothy texture. The heads give a nice sense of scale. Cool shot!

Interesting shot. It's pretty monochrome though and I wish there was something in the frame to give it scale. Still, I like the abstract yet evocative shapes.

This is a fantastic find. I love this kind of thing. It's beautifully composed and tells a unique story. The only thing I might do is try re-shooting it with a polarizer to bring out a little more detail in the sky. Other than that, it's a home run of an image. 6/6

In one corner of the Capitoline Museum in Rome women work on conserving ancient statues.
I like the way their lab coats echo the drapery on the marble statues. Comments welcome!

Who do you think you are, Jim? Picasso? Duchamp?
Really nice work. I love this treatment. It's a satisfyingly cubist approach that gets away from the usual, mind numbingly uninspired nude.

Good advice, Ed. I'll do a black and whit conversion and see how I like it.
