    I like the negative shapes in this composition, and your unusual approach, but the question"why is he standing there holding the tv?" gets in the way...it just doesn't seem to work for me.

    conveys quite well the massiveness and character of very large old steel girder construction. You placed yourself nicely for this one...no part of this image fails to contribute to the whole picture.

    great action shot...one can feel the straining and cursing to get the truck unstuck...I just wish the man on the left (and front of truck) had not been so radically cropped

    unusual 'way off center' placement of subjects in the long rectangle makes for an interesting and eyecatching shot out of what might have been a kodak moment...softening the background adds to the nice effect. I like the way the couple is posed, too. good job!

    I hear your frustration. I too need to become more proficent at photo editing. Cloning, or getting rid of unwanted objects is one of the first techniques on my list to learn.

    wonderful composition and colors and atmosphere. did you wait for the boat in lower left to place itself just so? picture would work without it, but wouldn't be nearly as effective. exceptionally good.
