Massive Drawbridge

Because of limited access, I had a difficult time getting a shot that

would demonstrate the massive size of this railway drawbridge. After

driving to several vantage points I decided to return to the base of the

structure and was fortunate to catch a group of workers crossing the

tracks on the far end of the bridge. I'm pleased with this shot, hope you

are too. Critiques greatly appreciated, thanks for looking.

Looks like it was made with a 1950's Erector Set!

conveys quite well the massiveness and character of very large old steel girder construction. You placed yourself nicely for this one...no part of this image fails to contribute to the whole picture.

Excellent sense of scale and age.

I would not have thought to use a low contrast treatment for this subject, but it certainly is effective. Like it a lot.
