Rajib, With your equipments, you have done well. It is hard to get star tracks in a full moon light. The Bhagirathi peaks look myterious. Did you try another composition with Shivling there?
-
Mehmet, I have already accepted that you are trying to do something different. But my take on this will be that you are not there yet. May be there will be an interesting image that you will come up in the near future with this flying cat concept. Good luck with that. It's refreshing to see people trying to do different things - keep it up

May be that you are trying to do something very original here, but I do not like the PS (or digital manipulation) work here. Looks too fake for my taste - composition as mentioned in the last comment lacks too. What is the mission for the cat? Just curious (like the cat)...

Looking at your bird shots, it looks like the birds almost posing for you. Where do you take these pictures? Great work 7/7
-
Great shapness and details..congrats
-
Nice eye and composition - get rid of that huge black frame
-
Using a shorter DOF can make this one more interesting. Also, using a fill-in flash to get a catchlight in the eyes will be another option
-
The top part can be cropped - nice otherwise
-
Wonderful!

Not an easy shot to get. Congrats for taking such a rare shot. Only negative is too much USM on the bird's neck or may be it is just jpeg resolution problem ..6/7

Thanks Cyrus, Yongbo, Paul and Zafar for taking time to comment. Paul, I also like the natural background, but I tried to print this one and the print did not look as good as the digital version. So I am trying a different background here for the print version. But I agree with your comment.

This is a repost - I tried with a different background. Does it
improve the image?

Comments are welcome.

I was trying to capture one of these in my camera last weekend - very hard to do so as they move so much. But you have done it - love the branches and ice/rain drops as well as they add to the image.
-
I can not say that this one is very original in composition, but great light and exposure choice really makes it a superb image.
-
Very nice - only problem is the white fume around the rock - it reninds me that it was digitally changed. Also you can crop out some of the foreground
-
6/6 for the photo (I liked the angle and color) and 10/10 for your effort to relieve the animal
-
Have you tried a different colored background? There is enough brightness difference here - but some color difference can make it even better. But that will require some digital manipulation. Even without that it is a good capture. 6/6

Thanks John - you must be an architecture expert. Well..this building is in Art Deco district - that's all I can say. But you may be correct as my knowledge in architectural knowledge can be written at the back of a cigar packet!

One of the captures in Miami's Art Deco district. All these
architectures are built on this Art Deco style which was very popular
in '20-'30s. This small guest house probably had a fresh patch of
paint and was glowing in the rays of the setting sun. The challenge
was to bring out some of the details from the shadows of the trees.
Thanks for stopping by

Reminds me Hitchcock classics....
-
Why 4 of them in one frame? Each one makes good abstract
-
The problem is the lack of difference between background and the person making the image flat. You may also need a hair light. But a good start with your new equipments
The last piece.
