At sunrise. Fifteen minutes later the vulcano would be hidden in the

clouds. I know, high contrasts and the bottom left is too dark.

Nobody will rate it, I expect. As a thumbnail it has too little

contrast to be noticed. It's from the same shoot as yesterday's

Untimely colors (see my portfolio). I was intrigued by the colors

emerging with the increasing brightness of the predawn sky. It's a

top and bottom crop of one WA frame. Levels, Digital Velvia and USM

in PS.

Quite windy yesterday at the Maasvlakte - an area of land claimed

from the sea, with which the port of Rotterdam has extended its

harbour area. These windmills were spinning at different speeds and

it took a while before I had them all three synchronized on the

photo.

Hi Theo, The fact that I commented "I hope it sounds better than it looks" for the photo of your amplifier was a reason for you to give 1/1 rates to almost all photos in my portfolio. That's quite childish, to say the least. The more so as I rated your amplifier 3/3 (which was not even the lowest rating). I was happy to rate other photos from your portfolio, but on second thought, I think I won't. Huub

By the way, is there so much difference between hours of setting up lighting to improve a subject before the photo is taken and adjusting the exposure after the camera click?

I was happy to rate other photos from your portfolio, but on second thought, I think I won't.

Taken early this morning. This windmill is surrounded by houses of

the city. This is the only unobstructed view of the horizon.

Therefore, it was hard to avoid the branches at the top left.

Taken during a cold and rainy walk this morning this morning through

the outskirts of Leiden. Some PS work to improve the sky.
