I find the image draws one into a state of relaxation and repose. However, the lack of drama, and its apparent serenity, leaves me looking for something a little stronger to "hold" to.

sorry, I don't check my own stuff much. The sky is partly a result of a vignette that was introduced in PS and patly, the clouds that were present. I added flash and reduced the background exposure a little, but that part was at the time it was shot.

This one caught my eye as lightly unusual.

It lacks technical merit on the focus/color but the composition is abrubt.

Find more and try to shoot with a clear idea of what your finished product should be.
