its not level for one thing, the colors are flat and no real detail. Not bad for a try. Slower shutter speed and smaller aperture will help.

yes my rating was entirely due to the sport. It made me really sad to see it. I guess my response was purely emotional. This said, I think the pic is actually a 7/7. Excellent exposure and crisp deatails. Spot on timing, composition (not that you can control that in this situation) and DOF. great shot for the photographic quality. :) -

and DOF, great. I would like to see the bottom cropped up to exclude the pot (or cloned out?).

This is too far out of focus for my taste. it lacks purpose for originality. (needs a point of particular interest i believe). IMHO> -
and composition are very pleasing. Pretty good shadow details. I would like to see a little more detail in the architecture. IMO. :) -
and caprivating. Needs much planning and thought and lighting technique and you're an artist and i'm a little jelous of your daring, bold and visual adventures. :)
