Old Man in Krawkow Farmers' Market

This man was on the corner outside a farmers' market in Krawkow

Poland.

This is a powerfull charactor study. If life has been half as hard on him as it was on his wardrobe, I imagine he has a few tales to tell.

I can not figure out why the jacket is blurred on the right side. Is this motion blur from the wind? Everything else looks fairly sharp. Muted colors suit the subject well. The torn posters in the background compliment the well worn clothing of the subject. The pavement and stone bench seem to echo the sentiment that, "life is hard."

Aurthur. This one is a shot that evokes discomfort with the plight of the poor. I find I am left in pain for this gentleman, yet intrigued by his history..
