Now see what you did. Ya went and showed me a place to spend money for computer stuff. LOL
Thanks for the tip. I went a looked at the site and it looks like a great idea. Did it seem like a good price, format, etc. Thanks again.

Jayme-
It was this set of images in your portfolio that inspired my first attempt at this style. I am using a program called Micrografix Picture Publisher. I have PS but frankly dont know it well enough to follow along with directions from a post. I realize that PS is the way to go. I guess it's time to double-click my most feared icon. :-) Thanks for the consistent help and support.

Thanks folks for the suggestions. I am new to photography as well as photo manipulation so believe me when I say that each and every idea and suggestion is read carefully. Thanks again.

Really big difference. You did the accents by hand? We really need to sit down and teach ME some PS. Thanks for the repost.

There you go again Nana, cleanin up my mess. :-)
Thanks Jayme. Yes that does make a difference. I suppose it's time to learn PS. Thanks again.

It's easy when your new Sister-in-law is so beautiful. Its actually a crop from a much larger capture. Thanks again.

This is one of my favorites also. The reds lean toward pink when I cut the opacity to lay the flag over the cemetary. Not sure how to avoid it. Thanks for taking the time to make a comment.

I love the look of a well-captured IR. It has an almost 3D feel to it. I wish I had the time a resources to play with this type of captures. Well done.

Francesco-
Thanks for the comments. Yes the soft focus was intended. I originally did have more contrast but it put too much of a hard-edged feel to the soft image I was looking for and I lost highlights in the models hair. Would a crisp black background have been better? Maybe I will try. Thanks.
