  4. Peekaboo.....I posted some in the classic forum, these are from the same roll. All with M6 and a 50mm Summicron using Kodak Portra 160. Scanned with an Epson V700 Covered in coal dust and grease. Yep, that kids got memories of a lifetime right there. Morris dancers. Going green.

  6. No story Arthur, a WW2/1940's reenactment that used to take place on a local country estate owned by the same family since the 16th century. The owner of the estate hired a new management company that suddenly decided this event was inappropriate to the rest of the estate activities and cancelled this years event at short notice. I think that the groups that Rick photographs are much more authentic. My problem with this lot was always trying to get a shot where no one had a bloody phone in their hand.

  8. So much for not getting any new cameras. Below are some of the results from my first roll through.. It came with a "P" screen which in use I disliked and have now changed to an "A" screen. All with the F2, Nikkor 50mm f/1.2 AIS, Kodak Ultramax and Epson V700 scan. He would rather walk than be made a fuss of.. Peaceful mooring. Flat, tired paint needs love.

  17. Here in the UK I find color film lab work has gone down hill. Dust all over the negatives. Totally given up on labs scanning anything a long time ago. Found a used V700 scanner about 6 years ago, not fast but it does OK.

  20. Arthur, dust used to drive me close to insanity. Iv'e tried everything I could think of. Vacuum the scanner and area, blower brush, powder free latex gloves. I even hooked up a low pressure airbrush compressor with the pressure wound all the way down. It all helped but nothing totally cured the problem. Looking at Photo net film images and images on other sites the answer came. Photoshop! My self imposed rule with Photoshop is do nothing I couldn't do in a very basic darkroom. Scanning now is a much calmer affair.
