Thanks Jonathan. As you can tell I increased the saturation of this shot quite a bit. The real moth was of a more muted color.
As far as the lens, I love it! It is big, heavy, expensive, and the auto focus is slow. It also spends more time on my camera than any other lens I own. I just love looking through the camera with this lens.

Shot with my new lens during a break in the rain.

Thanks for looking. This is kind of noisy as it was shot at 1600 ASA
and I used curves to crank up the contrast to bring out the red
outline of the plant.

Wow, a super eye catcher! For me this is by far the best of this series. I want it on my wall. As I look at it I wonder if it could use a little crop off the top? I am not sure.
