I like it the way it is. The monument is in shadow, yet you have managed to capture the texture and detail. Something like I would shoot.

Good work. I make these type of images myself sometimes. I like the minimalist geometry. I would have cropped it a little differently though. See attached for my take.

I really like the composition. The one weakness is the washed out sky. You may want to try burning that in to see what happens.
-
I like the composition. Though I wonder if there is a way to enhance the contrast without washing out the hi-lites or losing detail in the shadows

Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
(Yeah, I know)

I find the tree in the upper left draws me away from the subject. Otherwise it is well done. I like monochrome and this has a pleasing warm tone to it.

Like the nude. Don't like the books.

This is one of the strong reasons I like monochrome over colour.

That clock (i think it's a clock) is very distracting)

B52 - Would you believe I saw something about this on the the Discovery Channel today. Yes, BUFF.

Excellent, but I'm wondering about the necessity of the face paint.

Wonderful composition. The type of image I wish I shot and made.

Needs a levels adjustment. IT is a bit flat. The attached only took me a minute or so.
-
My type of landscape photo. I wouldn't compose it any different.

I like this shot, something about the color didn't seem quite right to me. I did a quick download and converted it to B&W. I now like it much better. But of course, that is me.

I agree with Henri on this one.
You've captured a nice angle and subtle curves.

I seem to be rather bad at removing elements that others use to frame the image. I removed the mike booms from a BB King photo that the photograher used in the same way to frame the picture as you did. I've done this a lot with my own photos. I like to isolate the subject or contrast it strongly with the background, which is another way of isolating I guess.
Ask 10 photographers on what makes a good image and you get 11 answers.

Could have put it under Architecture, but I was more interested in the
fine art elements.

This is what I do with it. I'm best at making a change and showing you.

I disagree. The colour cast makes it look like a concert. I would crop it a bit. Mostly of the top - but not too much

It looks so 50s sci-fi. I love it.
