It is a simple shot and I think you want the space you have to the right. Skin tones are very good and the light is fine.

The comment about cartoonish sky is apt I think. The colors are a little surprising, but I cannot really tell why. There is lots of space around the house and your photo conveys that very well.

The toning works well. The hair in his forhead appears very sharp, but there is a softness in his face that does not make sense. It does give it a tentative feel which seems appropriate given the title.

Evokative image, but one would think you could have chosen a better hose to do it with. Focus seems very soft, esp in the foreground.

Nice, dreamy quality to this photo - very good blend of the face and trees (?). The frame is larger than I would have chosen, but a matter of taste as always. The wide-eyed stare is prefect for this.

I've seen many "face behind the violin", but this is unusual in how you used the curve of the face to complete the shape in the instrument. I think you should have made aligned it perfectly at the bottom as well, however.

The highly saturated color in the sky overwhelms the other aspects of this photo. Nice treestump, but the foreground grass is a bit distracting. Good angle for the shot.

Fun shot. Certainly makes you wonder what is going on, and what that bemused smile is all about. A little busy in the background and more of the hand in the top left might be a good idea. Good exposure control.

This is great but it is a little too "feathery" to remind me of Giger very strongly, but the dark feel is certainly similar to his work.

I'm curious as to why some rainbow pictures bisect the sky this way - I'm assuming you did not edit to achieve this effect?

The macro technique is that described in Mark Plonsky's tutorial on the subject. It is cheap too if you happen to have a 50 mm normal lens lying around.

Everything is crooked in this shot. Maybe that is its merit? Nice shutter, but that wall is so drab.
