Lex..Thanks for responding ..I didn't printed yet but I scan The Neg (it was so dense)..I don't know whether the Time which is given in "digitaltruth " is accurate or not .regards
-
Ok ,This is what happend yesteraday ,I've used TMAX DEV to develope two rolls of
FORTEPAN 100 "35" ,regarding to digitaltruth "Massive Dev Chart it says 5.5 min
@ 20 dig .. the result is a very dense bluish negative.. Did anybody use this film
before ? many thanks

I agree with Uncle Goose "Ilfosol dev" is fine grain developer ..it works very well with Pan F & HP5
-
Thanks fo all commments ,really appreciated ,well actually My question was B&W film developing "pre-wsah step" ,and what makes me pr-wash every time is "density" some films are really dense when pre-wash step is missing.regards
-
I used to pre-wash "soak" films about ten minutes befor start developing ,My
question is 'Does it effect the film ? I've read about short period developing
and long period devoloping "the last one need pre-wash while the first"short
period " doesn't .
-
Very sad,his best friend Ansel adams died at the seme age (82):(
-
I wonder whether distil water is essential for the pre-washing step ? and
whether the final wash must done with a cold water (does it make any
difference ?)
