  1. Robert this is a really great shot. Composition is great, however the depth of field has captured the sand in focus at the slight expense of the jetty (or may just be my monitor?). This would even look great just before the sun goes down, but I guess people would still be in the shot. Anyway, I like it.

    Jon, thanks for your comments. The format is truly amazing. I find myself viewing the world whereever I go through the 3:1 aspect! The camers is a monster, but fits in a backpack nicely. Needs a tripod for 95% of the shots, it has a centre spot filter to reduce light fall off which you have to compensate by 1 stop, and to get great depth of field, most shots are taken between f22-f32, and with slow film (mainly velvia) all adds up to exposures that can't be handheld.
