    Hi Jan,

I am really enjoying your photography. Thank you for sharing.

Please, fill in a Bio? We have taken great notice of your photography & style, and wanted to find out a little bit more about who you are?

    But no information was given.

    Sincerely Yours,

    Ringo

Thanks for your advice Tammy. But I can not see any details around the shoulders. You must have a better monitor, than mine. In my monitor - I don't see any detail around the shoulders.

    Thanks,

    Ringo

    Learning and Improving,

This is the third time I submit this same image with changes.

Initially, most monitors could not view the contrast in the hair. So

I used a friends monitor to reset this photograph.

Upon returning home and reviewing the same photograph on my own

monitor, I could see details that were not intended to belong with

    this image.

Here is the final version. I hope you like it.

    Thanks,

    Ringo

  1. Hi Jan,

I have just became a fan of your photography. Excellent moments captured.

I love your subjects eyes and expression.

I do have a little advice on the finishing side of things. I wonder if you may want to brighten the photo a little bit, keep the same contrast and dark tones but increase the light tones a little bit. To differentiate from the neutral grayness.

    Great Shot.

    Thank You Simon,

I am in agreement with your comment. Thanks, for confirming my thoughts.

This is another picture of this whole group. I am sending a few, because I would like to get a general idea of which picture has gotten a better response.

    Cheers,

    Ringo

    Hi Bill,

Thank you for your great criticism. Yes, I do aggree with it as well. I should have at least not shot this picture with the leafs in the foreground. it doesn't work fot this picture. I was standing in a cliff. A dangeous cliff.

    Cheers,

    Ringo

    Hi Paul,

I really like the framing of your photograph. Some pointers for next time. Increase the contrast ( on levels (CTRL-l) chose the left dial and slightly move it to the right), also use a frame. Frames show photonet photographers that you are serious about your pictures. Please see my example attached with this response.

    Cheers,

    Ringo

Sometimes, they come to you. The children were talking about little

birds inside the crack of an old stump. I decided to lean my camera

into that little hole and voila. What do you think?

  2. Portal of the Soul? I love eyes. Eyes are all that matters.

Often I would tell my friends, that my girlfriend is the most

beautiful person, I have ever seen... Because all I would see is her

eyes and our symmetry. "You always think that about every girl, you

    are dating?", a usual response.

If the relationship is at peril, the beauty ceases to exist.

At the right moment the eyes of the other is filled with love. When

both feelings are true, you can only see beauty through the eyes.

    Eyes are magical!

My job as a portrait photographer is to bring the beauty of the eyes,

    every time!

    Great Shot,

I am a lover of the eye for portraits. A good eye equals a good portrait..,

    Great framing aproach.

I would want to see the reflection a bit sharper, and sharper than the rest of the picture - producing a visual entrance point.

    Cheers,

    Ringo
