I think you have one of the best portfolios on photo.net. I await your new postings with anticipation and am always really impressed by your pictures. Your work is off great inspiration to me and has really made me think more about composition, subject matter and lighting. Your subject ideas are great and my eye is always drawn to your pictures. Many thanks for being such an inspiration....keep posting them up !!

Andrew, thank you for your comments on my photos! What I cropped away was a big blurred section at the bottom of the photo as it was just so distracting - the eye was drawn to it.

I am going to work on some of my photos, play around with different contrasts etc. Covent Garden is great there are so many opportunities for good candid shots.

If you haven't been there before let me know and I will point out good places and good potential shots to capture.

    Thank you Jame,

You did a better job than me, I am still getting to grips with photoshop.....

I am going to go back to the embankment in Central London and find this guy so I can give him the photo I printed out for him (I will take all three versions for him).

He was standing in the middle of all these book stalls at the riverside just playing away, lost in his music.

Thank you to everyone for the really kind and constructive comments.

Thank you so much....it has been driving me mad trying to work out how to do it!!!

Now instead of getting on with my work (boring) I can teach myself framing, yippeeeeee. Thanks again!

I think this photo is fantastic, I love the lines and the tones....i love everything (you have a great folder too!. A quick question, could you point me in the right direction of how you framed this. I have been experimenting in photoshop but not sure if I need a plug-in to get the bevelled edge etc. I have tried looking on the photo.net forums but to no avail. If you could help that would be great! My email address is bridget@fashionhunt.fsnet.co.uk. Off take a good look at my radiator now..........
