I think this is one of the most amazing photos I have ever seen. It is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL and I can't stop looking at it. The crop is spot on, the light on the face is just right and the expression is perfect. If I could give it 10/10 I would, I love it.

I really like this one, this is the type of portrait I like to see you do, you do it very very well. I like the caption too.

I echo the previous comments, lovely eyes and lighting. The only thing I would say in personal preference and not a criticism, is that I find the top she is wearing a bit distracting, I like the lines of the veil and think the chest area should be bare or the top should be plain black? For a first posting I think it is EXCELLENT.

Hi David,
I think the essence of this photo is great, the face is beautiful and you have captured a nice expression. Personally I would have liked to see the background thrown out of focus. Also I would like to have seen the model leaning on the edge of the pole rather than the fence cutting off the edge of the body.
The colours are very good in this photo and it has lots of merits. It is only one opinion and I would be interested to see more of your photos !
Well done

Very nice shot. Would look nice printed on watercolour paper.

Your portfolio is really really fantastic. I think you are talented in so many areas of photography and manage to capture the essence of every photo taken. I look forward to your postings and i think that is the mark of a great photographer. This picture is really good.

This is beautiful Rita, a really nice shot.

Stacey,
I think this is a very useful photo to have, the first comment I wanted to make was that it reminds me of the the film 'The Shining' it is very spookey !!
I think you could do some digital work with this, maybe use it is a background for something - a ghostly image of a person standing in the foreground etc. You need to rotate it slightly so that it is straight i.e. in Photoshop click IMAGE - ROTATE CANVAS - ARBITRARY - Then rotate it a few degrees to the right so that the walls are straight.
A professional photographer friend of mine said to me recently to look at and keep all the photgraphs you take and one day you might be able to use aspects from them.
I think you have some good work in your portfolio.

Bridget

Rating it commercially I think you would need to clean up the skin in PS. As a photo i think it is very nice although I would maybe like to see more of the left side. There is something about her pose which makes her look a bit uncomfortable. I like the tones and the lighting is good.

Great great work.

This reminds me of a computer game cover, maybe you could do design work for them...or maybe you already do?
-
I find it a bit scary but the work on it is outstanding....breathtaking

Your digital work is some of the best I have ever seen. You are a PS7 inspiration. Truely amazing.

Great body, great tones. The person who can count all the goose bumps wins a prize.........

Very very effective.

Forgetting who he is for a second, I think this is a really nice shot, very clean image.

I like this idea, A LOT. I know it sounds strange to say but I think the girl looks quite 'cartoon-like' I would like to see her looking a bit more real?

Very very cute, lovely!

Very nice tones. The expression is very good and the lighting, as always, is excellent. Personally, it didn't 'jump out of the page' at me the way they others did. The previous two you put up really made me look whereas this one didn't so much. I like your pieces that are a tight crop, I think they have more impact on me. I hope this helps, I am not being critical it is just one opinion.

I have looked at everyones comments and it just brings happy tears to my eyes.
I have received so many emails about the picture and received such support and encouragement it has made me feel so emotional.
Tomorrow we are going to try and find this man and give him pictures and show him all the wonderful comments.
I wanted to ask advice, I have been approached by several people who want to mass produce this image. I am an amateur and am not experienced in the commercial field of photography at all. If anyone has any suggestions or advice I would really appreciate it.
What is also quite interesting is that I received lots of emails about the other picture of this man that I posted a short while back. Quite a few people prefer the other photo. If I was was going to produce 'the print' I would need to decide which one to do.
The url of the other is:

Thank you again to you all, the feedback has been amazing and I will never forget it.
