  1. you def have captured what you were after. The overall treatment maybe just a little too much for my taste but it is still a gripping image. Composition and lighting is very good. May be a little more wider frame including the left hand of the lady. my compliments.

Ian... thank you for your critique. I agree with you on the DOF, perhaps one more stop would have made the difference.

piotr. I like the lighting and the composition...imo..crop slightly from right till the frame just abt touches her ear...and watch the background...the wall is not adding anything to the image. nice shot.

piotr...i will join the rest in praising the lovely lass...

ok getting back to the pic....I like the exposure and the colour rendition. but i think this picture has three other elements which fight for the second place for attention from the viewer. i.e the wall, blue wooden table and red handle bar (i guess). Use fewer elements, especially when cropping in a little. Her pose makes her look slightly uncomfortable. I have just one advice...re-shoot. If you need more help..i will be happy to assist. :).

sunay, very nice shot. really like the overall effect to the shot. exposure and composition is very good. The only thing imo is head, beautiful, no doubt, but the position of hair takes away a liitle from the pic. again...really like the skin effect.

Steve, i like the composition and the subject. a good eye. Yes , the exposure is the tricky part here, but as mentioned in the comments above, you should use a polariser. It will enable you to shoot 1-2 stops more and increase the colour contrast. nice picture.

steve, i think i see what was your approach to the shot, mainly the shadows and highlights, i think. some pictures just scream for to be shot in b&w, this is one of them. if you spend some time in PS with this shot, i am sure u agree with me. other then that, it is a nice shot as far as exposure goes. composition could be improved, imo....there are too many elements in the pic. i hope this helps. happy shooting.

very cheeky ennio..no pun intended. picture brings a smile on. apart from the composition and the details, what really catches attention are the colours and the contrast. nice work. my compliments.

nice idea and execution arda. the shot is well composed and really like the model's expression while she is airborne. the only thing i would point out is the wind turbine behind the model. its presence distracts from the model. not that ask you to destroy the machine but a slight change in the angle of the shot or a some time with PS would solve the problem. but i really admire the idea and think it isa wonderful shot.
