I agree that you shouldn't critique the photo if you feel that you can't be objective. It looks like the fact that someone does not like digitally altered photos often justifies 1 or 2 for aesthetics. I have been lucky and this is only second time when my photo is nailed by this approach.

To Dona: The alteration itself is not time consuming. But I did spend a couple of months before I could do it in 10-15 min (in 300 dpi or above). So basically, I agree with Néstor that it is easy to do.

I am also grateful for Vlad's criticism with respect to the blur. In fact, the blur in this photo is neither digital nor intentional. So I will have motivation to visit this place a couple more times paying particular attention to DOF and tripod stability.
