In my opinion this is the best photo in your peace rally folder.

Wow! Nice and creative.

Very sharp indeed. Beautiful!

Please rescale to "large" if you'd like to see details.
Jerry - thank you for the comment.
Very flattering.

Thank you all for the inputs and ratings.
The lighting was created by a simple tungsten desk lamp with a diffuser (a white plate).
The latter was essential to the result.

Looking for any input - the more critical the better.
I would be particularly interested to know some specific details
about how the photo is perceived, what is seen and what is not.
Any opinion is appreciated.

Unexpectedly beautiful! Hard not laugh though.

Thank you for the comments and ratings. I am glad you like the photo. It was a fairly spontaneous and experimental shot, something to test the gear. Nickolay

Thanks for the comment Peter.
The reflection is from the surface
of a soap bubble.

I agree that the framing is somewhat overused and this disbalances the focus between the photo and the frame. For comparison, I uploaded
another version of this photo with simpler framing and lighter tones .

Very nice photo that illustrates an interesting phenomenon.
Could be a cover for Science Magazine ;-)

I appreciate the comments, especially about how the tones and shades in this image are perceived. It was hard for me to decide on the final brightness adjustments for the uploaded image since much depends on the monitor. I use a high-contrast LCD display that seems to reproduce shades surprisingly well. I noticed that other (CRT) monitors that I have access to all have noticeable variations in reproducing tones and colors. It seems that these variations become more critical in the case of "low-key" images with prevailing deep shades.

Very nice. I like subtleness of the river and reflections of the trees.
Needs to be seen as a large print.

Very impressive macro.
-
Simple yet very captivating.

Please critique.

Creates a headspinning feel!

Thank you for your inspiring comment Anna.
This was a rather spontaneous shot but I will keep working in this direction. Nickolay

Well composed overall. But I agree with the previous comments about the cropping.
