Thanks for your comments. I was hoping to shoot a shot like this for a long time, but it was materialized only when I moved to east coast. Man this is a colorful area!

Anyway, it was shot from a 20D and 17-40 L, exposure compensation -2/3, I think somewhere around f20. shutter speed I believe around 1sec. Shutter released from on-camera self timer. I set up everything and let the tripod/camera combo stabilised for the self timer interval.

Stopped by at delware water gap and that is what I saw. Pretty nice

color and although it was cloudy, fall color made up for the warmth.

Please comment on the compo and quality.

Wonderful work. The clonning is almost perfect. What catches my eys is your ability to add some realistic defects (or say mor nataural). I may be wrong if you took two shots and clone on ein another. Please tell us the story.

Sorry, I must have a bad eye! cann't see any hiker. Anyway, I hope the blue cast in the upper half of the image is scanning issue. If not, use a Haze filter/ Circular polarizer to cut down the haze.

A great imgae! that's my first impression. I don't know why people are talking too much about grain as I think the grain is just making this photo something mystical.
