great color

This one is my first portrait. Please comment critically.

It's a stunner.

So...which one do you think is the subject? is it lighting? or the two tombstones? I am confused. I think composition wise this photo is lacking a great deal. Only one of the tombstone in focus would be better in my opinion.

This is an excellent composition. the color is very natural. God knows why the rating does not reflect that.

Your sunset pics are wonderfull. Wish to capture some those moments....sadly not quite possible in my place.

Also, I saw someone rated this photo by '1' for originality....is it that bad?

I think you shoot with the longer range of the zoom, >250mm and as usual the photo suffers from low contrast and softness inherent to this lens.

Also, a bigger frame would have been better for this shot.

It's too soft. Look at your photo and you can realise that you can not really distinguish the hair on the animal's body. may be it was a little too dark for taking this photo.

Could have been a little brighter.

Good God...you captured a wonderfull piece of life.Nice job, but could have a little sharper.

Capture it with T-Max 100, for the first I am using this flim. It was

a cloudy day in Houston and I was unsure wheather I can take this

shot. Anyway, critical comments are welcome as always.

I love the color in this picture, however this could have been more sharper, specially the boat.

The bench distracts the image. You could have choose a different angle or position to either elliminate or subjectively focus the bench.

This could be a little better if you take the photo a little later....the sun will be more soothing in that case.

To me, it's very well taken shot. Specially the angle of the shot.

I think the background distracts the subject, the nice flower. This could'v been way better if you simply blur the back ground or crop a small portion of this image.

Love to see any constructive suggestions.
