It's great! The only problem for me is how dazzling her hair is. It draws my eye away from her face a little, but I really like this photo.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I absolutely love the play of the sunlight and shadows on the forest floor here.

Unfortunately there is nothing interesting about the vast expanses of mud and water on either side of these birds. Also the concrete barrier gives me the impression of a dirty urban riverbank. Great capture of the unique poses of the birds though!

Would love to see this sharper. Unfortunately the snake doesnt look very natural.

Can anyone provide advice?

Any comments, tips or critiques would be very welcome.

Quite the amusing photo - we have several entire factions of ducks that wander the wild bird rehabilitation clinic where I work... you can imagine the hilarious interactions that take place among them and our resident tundra swan. This is an honest capture, good brightness, colour.. but IMHO still just a funny photo, not really art. You cant make em all frameable masterpieces of course, thanks for sharing!

I got playing with colours to add some appeal to this. Comments,
tips and critique would be greatly appreciated!

This photo has a surreal feeling to it. I enjoy the horizontal orientaion of the streaks in the sand and the clouds. Perhaps try playing with the surreal effect with digital filters? Amazing work.

What a cool bird! The feet are quite a bit lighter than your standard blue-footed booby, but that's most certainly what it is. I've never actually seen one close up but I was involved in the rehabilitation of a gannet (a relative of the booby). Good shot.

This is a beautiful image. Done often, but your shot certainly does justice to the category. The falling water is done near perfectly. Excellent lighting - the area behind the falls is good black and undetailed. I would like to see a little more detail/variation on the surface of the flat water below, but the lighting can't be just right everywhere. Very nice work for w/o a tripod!

I too like the shallow DOF. I think I would enjoy the photo even more if you could see the transition from in-focus to blurry on the side of the dog's face and neck. The dog's face seems to float above the rest of the photo, not something that I feel works very well in this photo. But of course this is all MVHO. It is definitely a very nice shot.

Possibly too dark... A great scene nonetheless! Good capture.

This is actually from only one original photo, the top has just been
modified to the point of looking like a different sky. You can see
the original (with selective desaturation), in this same folder.
Anyhow, I would love to hear if you like the idea and/or the it's
been accomplished. Thanks..

Although I would love to see a more detailed, larger version, I enjoy the honesty of this image. Nothing is exaggerated -- you have catured the essence of the bridge beautifully. My only suggestion would be to try to remove the tree/shrub from the bottom right. Good shot

Actually, no flash was used. I hate using my flash. I'm sure if I had the skills to properly utilize it I might like it a little better, but I don't really agree with the concept of the flash for the type of photography I am doing.
I kind of liked the hooded feeling given to her eyes by the shadows of the eyelids, but I'm glad to see some different opinions.
Thanks for the comments.

The base for this was a handheld long exposure of a fire. I
adjusted the hue and made minimal contrast adjustments. I would
love comments on either this or another of its type in this folder.

I really like this one, David. The varied light, the display boards crossing the frame and, of course, the two blurred and one non-blurred figures. For a background with detail, I like the shapes behind the boards. It might look interesting with a uniformly dark area behind it, giving the foreground activity an isolated feeling. (IMHO, of course) Good capture.
