1. jmohan: another folder! I love the Vitessa! That Ultron is tack-sharp! Donald: thanks! That looks much better. François: wrote I like the colors. It looks very painterly.
 2.
And here is a shot of the ocean from our cruise. All shots on Acros 100 developed in Rodinal.
Film scanned on an epson 700.. too cold to print right now.

 3.
This is a closeup of one side.. I got something on the neg I cannot get off. Sorry.

 4.
OK here are my submissions.. This is from a Super Ikonta III with a Tessar 75mm f3.5.
I think i need to do some more work on the camera and run another roll through to really get the feel for it.

 5.
Mike: Nice results from that little camera. That first one really pops!

Bill: Wish I was in Oahu right now. It's cold! I like the framing on that first shot from the Record.. do you have any problems with that camera?

Greg: WOW thats an awesome bridge. Where is it?

 6.
Ah if i only had "sharp" negs to work with.... All my negs are mush.

 7.
After having disappointing results scanning 120 film on my epson, a friend lent me his betterlight scanning tray. I havent even adjusted it yet but I am already seeing an improvement.

This is my daughter at Sutters Fort, Sacramento. Notice she has a Yashica 124G.. Gotta train them right!

This was taken with my Balda Super Baldax. i'm quite impressed by that little camera.

 8.
I keep hoping my folders will start multiplying on their own.

 9.
I think you need to branch out now.. a nice Agfa isolette or Voigtlander Perkeo would fit the bill.

 10.
These were all taken with my Fuji X-E1. Most with the 14mm f2.8. A lens that wide tends to be hit-or-miss.

 11.
Hi eveyone!
I went up the hill to try to find some fall color. This is what I found.

I have a full story here: http://galadur.com/fall-color-2015-surprise
Thanks for looking!

 12. Was hoping to contribute. Souped up a roll last night. Blank. What a disappointment.
 13. Thanks for posting Rick! For a few shots from a short walkabout, those are great shots. I would swear they were taken with a medium format camera. You have done those cameras justice. Yeah, it has been a bit slow. I suppose I should get off my lazy but and develop some film. I have a backlog of cameras to try. Thanks for the inspiration.
 14.
i have to agree.. Trees are very difficult to get right.
Its hard to show their size.. how do you show that they are 100 ft tall vs 10?
How do you show that THIS tree is special, and different than the one in your yard?
-And how do you do that without cluttering the scene with people or houses?

 15.
And this one.. maybe with the 28mm tak.. or maybe with a 50mm

 16.
These were all taken with a Spotmatic F. Pretty sure this was the 28mm tak as well.

 17.
Mike: I like the restaurant pic!
Since you mentioned the 28mm tak, I thought I would post a few from mine.

 18.
FYI. check out the thread here:
http://www.apug.org/forums/forum147/117150-converting-116-616-kodak-camera-use-120-film.html

with further links to details about conversions.
The adapters from holgamods look like a great deal. Yes you can make them cheaper, but the time you put into it will not match the cheap price. -Using the adapters appears to be better than using a 616 take-up spool.
Let me know if you finish your project.

 19. I really like reading the qa part.. "Aero ektars are not good for portraits". -lol.
 20. Isn't the film gate on 616 cameras a bit wider than 120 film? What are you going to do about that? I was looking at using one of my 616 cameras myself.
 21.
Wow, very interesting to see all the flavors of the cameras of the time.
Also interesting to compare what is listed in 1955 to what happened only a few years later..

 22.
Lovely camera Tony!
The contrast on the images is a bit too high.. I hope that is just the digital conversion.
Some people warn of film flatness on the folders, others say it is a myth. I have not been able to confirm or deny it. I do know that an Agfa Isolette that I have opens very quickly, enough that I worry about it sucking film and loosening it.
The Franka is on my 'would like to have' list.. but right now i have too many folders to test out.
You do that camera a great justice. You images are excellent. Thank you for sharing!
I especially like the photos of jess, and the shell shot. You love to see that printed.

 23.
As usual Rick, you scored a real gem. All those bits and doodads that go with the cameras are becoming very scarce themselves.
