    I think this is my favourite from your portfolio. It is a wonderfully inclusive expression of the shopping experience, from designer to tired feet, and, unusually, from a man's point of view.

    I suggest you ignore the criticism that was made of this photo. It seems to me that you know exactly what you are doing and the effect you want.

    I like the way you are experimenting with a wide range of styles and subjects. I particularly like the shadow patterns in this one. Do you mind a purely personal compositional suggestion? I would have cropped a few centimetres off the bottom so that the back wheel disappears into the bottom right corner rather than being cut off just at the side. Feel free to let me know if you disagree.

    Interesting that people look for 'happy' messages in your photos. I find the combinations of colours and the strong circular movements somewhat dark and disturbing rather than restful. Not a bad thing, just an observation. In fact, personally, I think it is what makes them more than just pictures of pretty flowers.
