nice eyes, good exposure. Very summery feeling.

i think it's not really street photography:)
Not a bad photo, otoh. I would cut one fifth off the left side.
-
-
By the way, don't expect photo.net publicity from these photos. They radiate a scaringly true desperation(maybe this is not the correct word) that makes the viewer feel uncomfortable and return to the nicely lit smooth and warm toned tanned-nude-on-the-couch shots or oversaturated landscapes.
-
again, the same sad feeling coming through the eyes and the direct frontlit brutal photo. Yes it is SAD, and great shot, in my view.

I'd say differently: If uma thurman refuses to pose for your photos, then she is replaceable:)and you've found the person. Great shot, i like the angle alot.

:) thanks Mike
Mich, it's grain from the negative. It was an expired delta3200 that I used...
-
This is a closer crop to "what's happening". At that moment, I had
no time to move closer or to change the 24mm lens to a longer one.
Alas, lots of details are lost due to the grains of the delta3200
and to the sloppy flatbed scan.
Thanks Pete, Massimo and David for the comments on the previous
(full frame) version! Further comments are also well-regarded:)
PS: there's a guy playing violin in the next compartiment, one can
see him through the window if looking carefully. He's quite tiny,
tho'.

instead of freedom, i'd call it social hierarchy :)

Hmm, i see it is a bit tall for an average monitor. F11 (in internet explorer) might help you getting the full image on the screen.

Don't know if I may categorize this as "street". Anyway, your
oppinion will be well regarded here below. Thanks, and have a good
light today!
-
Suggestion?maybe, -maybe, scan it and/or print it less bright. That face could use some detail.

I'd like to see a bit more from the head. It's a bit strange like this, for me. Good... everything, in the rest.
-
Very good photograph. Very bad title. Yes, he probably is a criminal, but I hate it when priests stick their nose into politics. It's just not their job, imo.
I guess he's a priest:)

Sharpness and colour saturation, fashionable as is, it's not everything. Great photo.
-
Bob: thanks... This is a bit cropped already. Had no time to switch lenses, nor to run closer from the other side of the street.
Stephen: what is that for award?
-
:o) hm, it did not take too long for somebody to notice that. Yes, i was also amazed; and it's not even the most remote region in Paris...
-
thanks 4 the click.

experiment 3: I put the neg strip on a lightbox, under a microscope.
Held an olympus camedia c-4000 at the occulair, magified the image
with the microscope (approx. 10x, i think) and photographed.
Inverted in PS. The white circular border is the edge of the
microscope-s field of view. Critiques/comments/ideas are more than
welcome.
