I think this works, though retaking a new one with more veil for a vertical shot would give the head balance, but this crop cuts out some of the top of the head, and thus works.

A good decisive moment... perhaps a taaaaad off as said above. Love the framing between the phones. Interesting interpretation above. Dare I suggest the incomplete triangle implies a third, not present person involved with them somehow? Anyway, very interesting image. A winner.

It's called Light Painting. Dark room, open shutter for 10-30 seconds (here 10) and "paint" light on the scene with a "lightbrush" (here, a flashlight). Experimenting and practice eventually gets you interesting, beautiful light. :) It helps to have a medium value surface, so people with medium value clothes or nudes work best.

I love the composition, blurring, motion, all of it... lovely image.
You're in Madison? I went to school there! (UW) Is Parthenon Gyros still on State Street?

It was really difficult to get great exposures of people spinning
fire poi, so I came up with this solution. Any comments, experiences?

What do you folks think of this one?

It's a lovely image.
So you got the cool lighting with a honeycomb, eh? Might have to try that. I prefer B&Ws of course, but I would think those colors would be complementary to your skin tone. Did you not like the color version as much?

Lovely the tonalities, lighting, mood, and composition!1 I usually don't like B&W with special colorized regions, but it totally works. Makes me think, not in a bad way, of commercial advertising shots, like for perfume. Well done.

I was just reading a photography book that gave me a new appreciation of the work you do to make these lovely prints. I've appreciated them for their art -- now I can more fully appreciate their CRAFT. Very nice.

Lovely, majestic nude, great pose, wonderful lighting, fantastic diagonal comp, a winner!

Right out of a perfume or clothing line ad... really nice commercial/fashion stuff! Again, great comp, clarity, lighting, tone, pose....

Nice fashion/glamour, love the clarity, tones, expression, lighting... this goes against your humble bio -- photography is clearly something you don't do poorly!

Upper right... there are three white dots, and your ear or whatever, but I would just clone hair to remove the non-graphic-style things in the corner, because the busy-ness there distracts from the wonderful white and black fields next to the somewhat colorful element of the blinds. Could just crop it on the right, so the crop starts where the black hair edge is. Then it would stick to that cool graphic style you're developing.

I like the high-contrast, graphic style you have in these in-your-face photos. The shadows made interesting beautiful shapes -- keep it up! But a couple yards of black velour material to make it easier on both of ya too!

Another beautiful triptych! Well done.

A centralized composition that works! Lovely tones, great composition. Lovely image.

Well-done infrared shot. I like the comp and the nice range of tones, also how the sky provides a dark field for the eerie trees... well done.

Another wonderful, perfectly balanced image.... really nice.

Maybe I should add that, as you are totally right... gray on gray...
