Steve, have you scanned the print or the negative? - I see it was negative.
The scanned image was printed on Epson right?
Scene like this one should be developed in pyrocatechin if you like the sun separation.

Good! I was there, but with a color film.

This is an enlarged portion of the above picture. (Taken with a barrel lens, no shutter.)

Thanks for the input.
The problem is that I do not know what other people see on their screens. When viewed in Photoshop the images appear some 15-20% darker than when displayed in Netscape or Explorer. And when viewed in PC they are darker than on my Macintosh. So I darken the images somewhat to compromise. Of course the riginals are... gues what?

Good!

The sky looks a bit artificial for me but it is certainly more interesting han the original picture.

On this steep I have learned skiing, while in the bathroom of our house marked X I was making first contact prints from negatives supplied by my father. At that time the S-shaped street at the lower left of X did not exist, but the ski jump was, of course, there (although not as advanced as to-day) .
More pictures of Tatras follows.

"architectural photography without movements is a waste of time." - NONSENSE!

Perfect design.

Interesting portfolio!

The dark halo is created when you put a softar lens (dutto) during enlarging. It is just reverse effect while during picture taking. Then you have hallation strongest around highlights.
It improves the image here.

Good 3-dimensional effect and mood.

Very good. Not a common viewpoint.

This a rectangular symmetry inscribed in a circular vignetting type of burn in along the edges. This burn in, or darkening effect, is not justified, it does not add anything to the picture. It is too light to significantly contribute to overal geometrical impression, and too dark in the present state, to justify the logic or reason of being there.
The extra, outside frames with cast shadows are commercial gimmicks.

The frog looks almost submerged in the water-glass pool!

I have often fancied that a young executive is about to jump from this springboard into the future, (for some ad purpose) but never attempted such a photomontage. The diagonal is simply a shade cast by the building. It is perfectly natural, not emphasized in any way. Strange that it is projected against the sky, isnt it?

The picture is fine, but I need the tops of these truncated trees for composition.

Hej, interesting experiments with laser! Must be a long time exposure? Tell us more how you did it.

Send me please one case of those like the third one from the left, and make sure all are 89. Thanks!

Man comes of age in his thinking as by degrees of perception he realizes himself as living testimony to the sacredness of all living things; for wherever, and whenever each of us thinks of himself as an individual, a unique and inviolable personality, then may we also recognize the value represented by each and every one of our species, sharing commonly in our humanity, all of us, indeed, members of...

Of the Nordwind? The Nordwind blows from the South, though I often have tacked by it as I had sailed.
Cod, you say? Cod runs deep. I can prove this, too, having hervested the deep at varying fathoms.
Volcanoes? Why, yes; volcanoes I know best. I erupt with knowledge. Therefore, I shall teach you.

Who is Mr. Quinn? Scientist ...? Photographer...? Hunter of the wild orchid...?
He lives with his five short-tailed terriers; he travels by foot and with backpack avoids motors, machinery of voluminous magnitude, and monitoring mechanisms of doom... all of which bore him. He prefers lizzards, and spiders, and bears, frequently enjoying natures beauty, but also stalks good conversation and good company among his fellowmen.

C'moi! How fantastic! I am the voice, the living expression of Being... being Itself, in the person of me; and in my mind's-eye I see reflected the image of my guardian angel, my soul ... me.
