Good timing.

This image is blah... I keep looking for something interesting, like a person, or snowman, or even anything colorful... but there's nothing. You would do better adding some extra element to your image that peaks the viewer's interest... without that extra element you have a plain, boring winter landscape.

Hey... thanks for the comment. You're right... looks like a terradactyl. That's the one cool thing about silhouettes, you never know what you might see. Thanks for stopping by.

Catchy title and everything :)

Yeah colors are prime now. Really beautiful. I was up this way at the beginning of October... colors weren't as good as they are here. My parents live up this way and mom said this years fall colors were the best she had seen in a long while. I just got back from Boston, MA... leaves were really pretty too. Check out my Boston Folder. Best Regards.

Nicely seen! Love it!

Magnificent shot! Really nice, wish I could have seen this.

Love the contemporary feel and the clean lines that this shot has, it caught my eye immediately. Her eyes closed bothers me a little, whether she is thinking, meditating, whatever... still bothers me. Her leg up on the couch doesn't seem convincing... like that isn't a casual or even comfortable way to sit while 'thinking'. The red of her skirt throws me from the red color of the wall... those reds do not work well with each other.

Classic shot! I can dig it... faded colors and all.

Great shot. Really love the lines created here. I would have gone for a tighter crop eliminating the white box in the upper right corner.

Nice sunset... good display of color temp. I like the sun glare, it's natural. I am bothered by the white spot in upper right and bothered by the power lines in upper left. Of course these are easy fixes in PS... I'm sure you know that. I remember you stating these were un-touched. I'd even straighten out the horizon too while I was at it. Horizon slightly dips to the right.

Here is my composition! Interesting choice of DOF. Colors are great... really contrast well together.

I'm sorry but I just think this photo is not good, not good at all. I hate to be harsh, but I want to be completely honest. There is some serious lacking of composition here. I can not understand why you placed your subject like you did, you cut her in half... the background is not interesting. Your subject, however, is. What beautiful, mesmerizing eyes. Also... the whiter concrete showing in lower left and lower right are extremely distracting.
Here is what I think you can do to correct this shot if ever faced with the opportunity again:
~Instead of portrait, do landscape
~Put your subject off to one side if you still want to capture a majority of the background
~Tighter zoom too maybe

This is a nice shot. Good DOF to seperate background from subject. Very casual shot... a snapshot to save and remember the day.

1. Wish the image was a bit larger. You'll find most people on here (P.net) like to view your images at a larger size because most like to study the fine details... details are hard to detect at a small image size.
2. Mediocre lighting... she seems a bit washed out... also contributing to this I think is her pale complexion.
3. The background seems a bit distracting, maybe because it is so inconsistent on both sides.
