I wouldn't worry about what people say. Personally I like the blue tone to this image. Whether it's done with a filter, ps, or other I don't really care. I agree with Jed that cropping out most of the gravely foreground improves the image.

hmmm, seeing on 30 something or album cover is one thing. As an event experienced, that is quite another! -
this is a very strange aspect ratio, having come straight from the camera! -

I think the lower left ice blur helps the image, only it shouldn't be so blurry, but should be the same focus as the upper cloudy piece of ice. Maybe a second shot would focus on the near piece, and use just enough DOF to get the clear ice in focus. -
I dunno, this guy only has one more medal than the guy to his right. Not sure if that justifies arrogance. Besides, he's probalby just pissed at you for taking his picture and breaking his cover.

I don't mind seeing this subject centered, especially with the bright grass in a circle around him. I agree with Daria that the second person seems a bit extraneous, at least that's how I see it. The pose of your child, with back to the camera and sitting on legs feels isolated. The other person's legs throws that feeling off. imo

I think the composition is great in this photo. I like the lighting on the hands and base. Pity there's a shadow on the lower half of his face, but not much you could do about that. Don't be afraid to get kicked out of places, though, haha

this is actually a pretty cool shot. I think the glass on the left, and the box or whatever on the right are a bit distracting, though. What do you think about this crop?

are there two hornets here? I'm guessing one hornet is on top of the other. If so, maybe a shot from an angle would be good

I think color might have worked better. I can picture the golden hair next to the brown hair, the grey wall, and the blue sky. Just my opinion, though.

I think Gid is telling you to become a graverobber...it is there you will find your pot of gold! I like the way everything to the left of the rainbow is darker, than to the right, almost like a screen wipe or something

from a composition standpoint, I agree with Marc. I'd say dropping less strawberries would do the trick. How did you get the clarity in the water? This is really awesome

woohoo! one of my editing suggestions had a positive effect. btw, I have quite a few bullet holes in me for the same reason.

guess the problem is I moved to New York in March 2002, so it's a shock for me to see stands open all night. I thought this guy was just waiting for a customer :)
