I like this a lot. Seems a little dark on my (properly calibrated) monitor; might want to tweak the levels. It's a little distracting that the shorter post in the foreground is out of focus; might want to crop some from the lower part of the frame to de-emphasize it a bit.

Great scene. Unfortunately, this photo suffers greatly from vignetting -- the dark corners are noticeable in the sky and are downright overpowering on the bottom and right edges of the frame. From the technical details, it looks like you may have used a teleconverter here; might want to use it more sparingly in the future.

I caught this on the No Words forum; very impressive. I would like to see some more light on the evergreens, but with the lighting as is I think this is the best exposure possible -- enough shadow detail without overexposing the higlight tree. Well shot.

Lovely, and reminiscent of my recent trip to Ireland. It's good to know that splendid ruins like this remain on the continent as well as the British Isles. Well shot; I like the repetition of the arches; my only quibbles are that the frame doesn't seem to be level, and the emphasis on the left side makes the frame seem even more lopsided (might have worked better in a horizontal composition).

Perhaps I should be more clear: the use of the filter is so obvious that I find it distracting and therefore the photo is less appealing to me. It would have been more appealing to me if the entire scene was filtered, or not at all, than to have this half-filtered, half-natural sky.

Not a critique I normally give out, but there is too much shadow detail here. Increase contrast and you should be fine; maybe crop some of the foreground as well.

Not sure how the exposure should have been adjusted per the comment above -- nothing seems too bright or too dark to me. I like this a lot.

This is a great scene, but I can't help wishing you included more of that great reflection in the foreground.

Don't touch the contrast. You have a strong highlight in the sun, strong shadows in the silhouetted tree, and a great range of pastels throughout the rest of the frame. Simply put, this is a great shot.

Great shot. Love the inclusion of the background -- it's almost as if you were on the radio with the pilot, telling him/her exactly where to stop and pose.

I like the initial product here; with some adjustmnt, it could work even better. The foreground towards the left edge of the frame isn't very interesting and could safely be cropped. This would serve a double purpose in that it would also cut out two other distracting trees, one on the left edge of the frame, the other just to the right of the left edge (the one poking up above the horizon). Other than that, the sky could be darker; a red #25 or dark red #29 filter would accomplish this nicely.

Seafood take-out again?
Good find. This could use more contrast; there are a lot of middle tones, but not many highlights or shadows.

This is a great photo. Great composition and use of perspective, great contrast range, sharp field of focus throughout. Very well done.

Great shot. Background looks a little dark, though. This is one situation where I would, for once, definitely want a UV filter between my front lens element and my subject!

More and more...overacting? I like the juxtaposition here. Great composition and use of depth of field.

Is this a digital composite, or does that image actually appear on the wall? Either way, I don't think that poor child deserves to be vivisected by a sign post.

This needs more field of focus. I don't think it's important or even necessary to have every grain of sand in sharp relief, but I'd at least like to have the leaf itself fully within the field of focus. I'm not wild about the composition, either; maybe a diagonal composition would look better, I don't know.

I've seen this group before -- as I recall, they play Vivaldi quite a lot. Agree that the stroller/pram/baby carriage at the right edge could have been omitted; unfortunately, cropping it out now would ruin the shot -- you need to keep the onlookers, and having half an instrument case at the right edge wouldn't work either. Watch out for distractions like this on the edge of the frame.

A creative frame does not an interesting photo make. I don't see much in this photo to elevate it from a regular snapshot.
Another cold one
