Thor,
Great shot, I love the color and the spontaneity.

Michael,
I quickly spun through your photos and this one made me stop at take note, of all your shots I think this one speaks the most to me. I really like your composition the steel toes, her shoes, the yellow stripe and how it draws the viewer's attention to her shoes. Usually the name of a photo doesn't contribute much to the shot, as it the photo should stand alone, however, I think you picked the perfect title for this one.
I think this one is getting added to My Favorites.

Janice,
Of all your dog park shots I like this one the best because I think it nicely captures the interaction between owner and pet. The dog's anticipation of his owner throwing the ball, the owner lovingly looking at his pet. A great photo.

The smaller version doesn't do this shot justice. I wanted to recommend a greater DOF, however, when I looked at the full size version I think that you captured this shot just perfectly.
Nicely done.

Michael,
Nice composition, I like how you took the shot at a downward angle so that we can see the rust detail in the handle. I'm tempted to crop the shot to bring more attention to the handle as I think it is the most interesting part of this photo, especially the lock. Thoughts?

I love the looks of anticipation on their faces. This was a game where
balls are released and then you toss them into holes, I took this photo
just as the balls were released.

Next time try it both ways and see which one you like better...just watch out for falling coconuts.

Paul,
Great shot, we've all seen kids in a bunch of leaves, however, by blending the black/white with the color I think it adds a nice twist to an otherwise standard shot. Also, I think that having her in color really draws the viewer's focus to her and makes the leaves more subtle.
Very nice.

Ira,
Great composition, looking up the tree really ties nicely with the sign. My only comment would be to try using a greater depth of field so that we see more detail on the upper portion of the tree.

Gabriel,
I'm no pro, however, here's my critique:
What I like: the composition and how the shadow of the fence runs away from the viewer towards the upper right corner. How you turned the camer to get accentuate this feel.
What doesn't sit well: The little girl's face being partially lit. Idealy her whole face would be in shadow or maybe you could have used a flash. I understand that the sun is where it is and if you turned her around you would lose the shadow. Also, it is too bad that we don't get to see the flower she is holding, again a shadow/lighting issue.
For what that's worth.

I don't find the backboard distracting, that's the best think about street photography, it's not perfect, that's what makes it soooo cool. Very creative photo.
