2.
I have 2 large cardboard boxes containing several smaller boxes of slides (stored in 5 black plastic storage boxes) to be shipped from TX to AZ. All the slides are 35mm, mounted in GEPE glass mounts, then stored in plastic sheets. Plastic sheets are then stored in the black boxes. How likely is it that the hot weather/temp inside a carrier's truck will harm the slides?
Thx, Jim

 3.
Thx for the tip on Ghost Towns, I ordered it from Amazon. No interest in bird photo. Thx anyway.

 4.
I may have the opportunity to move to Sierra Vista and was wondering what photo ops I would have w/in a 3 hr drive of Sierra Vista. I am primarily interested in: Landscape, old western towns, historic places, rodeos.
Thx in advance,
Jim

 5.
I use PSE4 after I am done w/Lightroom. Most of what I what done is accomplished in LR, but still have need for PSE, especially w/downsizing for the web. When they allow 16 bit processing I would consider upgrading.

 6.
Kari, Sorry your getting what I should be getting. I am going to try the suggestion of MC -23, Will also try an off brand MC- 30, cut and splice 2 of them into one. This way there shouldn't be a lag.
Thx again for your help.

 7.
Thx to all, especially Rodeo Joe, & Kari. Both solutions will work, and both offer what I want at affordable prices with flexibility, especially the cheap radio transmitters. I will likely try them both. I'm only looking to use this for 3D Photography, not planning on being way from cameras, and probably not having cameras more than 12" apart.
Thx to all.

 8.
Thx Kari, that's the best solution yet. I'm surprised NIKON didn't offer that.

 9.
I have 2 F-100's that I need to fire at the EXACT same time. Nikon rep suggested the WR-10 set-up which sells for $180, but I would need 2 recivers. This is a bit expensive. I will be standing behind both cameras which are on a tripod plate. Both are fitted w/same lens, I will need to snap picture at exactly the same time for 3D photos of rodeo shots. Normal shutter speed is 1/1250.
Does anyone know of a less expensive, reliable method/equipment to do the same thing?

 10.
I agree w/Jim Peterson and Al Derickson, nothing beats a well exposed projected slide. North Coast Photo in CA still processes E-6 for ~$8.00/roll 35mm. I recently had them process 14 rolls, only $6.00 shipping for al 14 rolls. !!! Also many options in NYC, one in San Antonio, TX, and probably others if you look. 5 wks ago I purchased ~$200 worth of Provia 100F, Velvia 50, &100 from Adorama. B&H also has them in stock. Provia 400 has become way to expensive to purchase($14.00-18.00/roll). I still use my D700 for sports, street photo., and some landscape, but will also bring my F100 for landscape. I recently shot several rolls at many youth rodeos w/o any problems-both 100 and 400 ISO. Shot at least 8 rolls, shots look great. All mounted in Gepe AN Mounts.
Looking at my work projected on a screen beats a laptop any day. But digital still offers greater flexibility in processing.
