I agree with your remarks vs. grain in the sky. I could have done a little more PS work on the scan (from the neg with Nikon LS50E). It is true that it is less obvious on the print. Thank you for your comments.

There was a beautiful dramatic light on a that sunday afternoon.

You have managed to capture a very beautiful light. Interesting framing, though I wish it included 100% of the right foot. Congratulations.

I like the sense of movement created by the panning. The eye contact with the main subject makes the difference.

Congratulation for your folder. You have managed to convey the feeling of movement, which is characteristic of those places. I jumped to this picture as soon as I saw it. You will understand why if you take a look at this one and the rest of the folder.

Great composition. You need to be more careful with the masking that was used to burn in the sky. Additional PS work will certain yield a very powerful picture. Let us see ...

Nice capture. There is detail in the low lights. IMHO, would benefit from a crop: reduce the ground area and the right a little bit. It is a shame not to retouch the scratches on a good picture like this one!

Good rendition of the texture. Too bad you did not frame a bit lower so as to include the hands.

I like this combination of parisian icons. IMHO would benefit from a crop that would elimate the trees on the left and put the Sacre Coeur off- center.

I like the expression and soft light from the window. The coloured areas also 'pop' very nicely in an otherwise nearly monochrome background. Maybe one could wish you had less DOF.

I like this one very much. Very good use of the ropes to frame the subject. Textured background gives a nice feel to the picture.

Great expression. Good sharpness. IMHO could be more contrasty, with a tad more light in the eyes and teeth.

This part is actually the other side of the door frame which beeing closer is out of focus. I could have got rid of it by advancing just a little bit,...if I had noticed it. Thanks.

A very effective framing and interesting portrait. I would prefer a milder interpretation with more subtle contrast and edge enhancements. Closer to what I bielieve the reality was, and yet a very strong image. But surely an invitation to make portraits. Congrats. Bertrand

Very pleasing picture with an interesting triangular construction, subtle colours. Maybe would benefit from some gentle PS work to add a sparkle in the eyes of the subjects.

Makes me eager to paying another visit to India.

I like the composition and strong contrast, but I think that the framing is 'overdone'. A thin black line only, maybe. The picture stands out by itself. Rgds.

This is by no means a cliché, but it happens that I took the very same photo last year and immediately recognized the place. Interesting geometry.Regards.
