Wow Jay, You weren't kidding. This is absolutely amazing. What a great idea, increadibly original, and perfectly executed. Who would guess your climbing skills would also come in handy as a wedding photograher;)
This should put you on the map! All the best, Dana

Very nice photo. I'm all for breaking the rule of thirds when I can, but I think this is one case where the image would be stronger if you cropped the bottom water reflection, near the top of the yellow tree reflection on the right.

Very nice image. Most of us have no problems with Pshop, but in his details, he mentions what work he has done, with no mention of adding or altering the moon. I believe this moon is too large in relationship to the landscape. By not mentioning it, you imply that you were clever enough to create this image, without altering it. I really like this image, just be up front about it.

Pawel, terrific image. The silouette is wonderful, but the composition with the location of the sun really makes this image exceptional. 500mm hand held, how did you accomplish that without burning out your retina?

Hey Jay, looks like your back from out west. Nice shot!

Thanks for the detailed explanation Irv. The effect is very beautiful. I've seen this done before and liked it, I guess I'll just have to try it for myself sometime soon. I also have Neat Image and will try it as an alternate "glow" effect. Thanks again, Dana

Irv, your recent group of flower shots are very nice. I really like the lighting. May I ask, are you painting with light, maybe a bit of P-shop to soften?

May I ask, what is the PS midnight filter you're speaking of, it's not in my PS CS filter list?

Kim, absolutely wonderful shot. The light is really sweet. My lab FINALLY started to slow down this past year at 6 years of age: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=2956711

This certainly deserves all the accolades. Love every bit of it!

Adam, I see you've been photographing in my backyard lately. I have always enjoyed your images, and this one of the swift is exceptional. Love the tones throughout.

Peter, as said, this is a really beutiful well lit shot. But, I have to agree with Robert, the angled ceiling makes the whole thing look crooked and off balanced. Considering this, I am surprised the magazine wants to go that route. I would put their title right in the ceiling with the crop of Robert's, or maybe try a little free transform in photoshop to see if you can straighten it some without throwing the rest of it. Either way, a really nice image.

Who says all the good shots have been taken and are now cliche's. Certainly one of the nicest pictures I've seen of Half Dome.
