  1. This is a reposting of one I which I received an excellent suggestion

(thanks Jim) that the color seemed to blue. I did some adjustment in

PS, but color gives me a lot of trouble so I may not have this right.

Comments and suggestions very much appreciated.

This has been a difficult image to work with. I like the image and

some but not all of the lighting. It was late afternoon, and I was

shooting into the sun, which I tried to deal with my placing the light

behind one of the trees to the left of the tower. But it was a tough

exposure (on film) because of the extremely high contrast of the scene

involving both direct sun and shade where I wanted some detail. PS

adsjustment limited to the kind of dodging and burning that would be

    done through traditional print processing.

    Comments/suggestions/criticisms appreciated.

Wonderful image. The background is just a little bit distracting, though, so you might see how it looks if you increase the contrast and create a darker background with less detail. This would help the flower stand out even more.

This is a superb portrait. The one very slight flaw is the lines to the left of the head. See if you can remove these. Also, work a little on the shadow so it is pure black. Great job.

Great use of color. As it is, a fine image, but I have a feeling you can tweak the lines/composition a bit to make it even more effective. Try cropping some of the let and the top of the picture.
