Hello, i've been offered a real mint(10-) hasselblad 553 elx with a

chimney finder for US$ 900, is that too much? or is that a good deal?

if you think it's good i will get it, the offer will only till this

I'm an agfa scala fans also, and i live in Orange county, the only place that you can go is "MAIN PHOTO SERVICE" they located in santa ana, also the closest to you i guess it will be cypress, since you live in LA so go ahead call them, and here's the phone # 714-647-7600(santa ana) and 714 894 2526(cypress).And as afar as i know they are the only lab that can do scala processing, etc on west coast.print from scala will use a true b&w paper and custom r type printing, so i guess you can do all you need.See ya!!!

Hi everyone!, i'm planning to get a brightscreen for my mamiya c330s,

my question is which to choose? a beattie intenscreen or maxwell?

which one is better or are they just same thing, how about price? b&h

selling beattie for $125.00 or somewhere around, i just couldn't find

for maxwell price, is it cheaper though? thanks for any info.

fuhgeddaboutit! consider your budget first, and as all before me gave their opinion these are tlr you should consider. yashica tlr (124g) or 635, minolta autocord, rolleicord ( if i were you save a lil bit to get a rolleiflex), rolleiflex and last is mamiya c330 or 220( with lenses range to choose), so do your homework and some comparison, there are lots of threads about tlr here, and also look around on ebay for price range, enjoy your search and good luck on your next step into medium format world!!! ciao

Hello everyone!

 

I'm an advanced amateur photographer and would consider too become

professional after all these years enjoying photography as hobby and

friends also family suggestions that i should start as a

professional, right now i have maxxum 9 with mamiya c330 s camera, i

love both of them and now i'm thinking to get an rz67 pro 2 or rb

pro sd as i love big negatives and would be sufficient for me and

for my client if they want a big enlargement, and i'm into portrait

photography ( wedding included) but also all around photography.i'm

beginning to set my own studio but i like to do my shoot outdoor, i

like beautiful vista of outdoor it's just more passion for me to do

it outdoor, eventhough i can not play around with light but no

problem at all.And now i want any good advice from mamiya users

especially rz and rb users, if is it worth for me to let my system

that i own now to get a newer rzpro 2 sytem( or maybe rb67 pro sd)

with portrait lenses, i 've been looking around on ebay and if i

don't get any good deal will consider to get it from b&h for new but

that will cost me more for the lenses.Just consider advantage and

disadvantage from this system. Thanks so much and any suggestion will

be appreciated.

Hello Buck! i have mamiya tlr model c330s and a maxxum 9 slr from minolta and i bought a sunpak 544 handle mount flash that is work with both of my cameras so give it a try, it won't hurt you, find one use on ebay for price range 75-100 bucks but if it's more than 125 better go to b&h and buy it new. Hi Everyone! i have a mamiya c330s and would like to know is that

really necessary for me to have sportsfinder for 180,135,105 lens?

since i have all these lenses and i'm going to use those lenses for

portraits work, i don't really need a paramender cause i can put mark

on my tripod for 5cm up from the original spot after i compose the

pic and i don't have to worry about upper and lower level of the pic,

so the questions is about the background of my subject will it make

any difference when i'm using the sportfinder or not? or just go

ahead to do crop when i get the print?. thanks for any infos and

Hi everyone! i just got a mamiya c330s with 80mm,105mm ds, and 180

super,First step into medium format. my question is what flash system

would be appropriate with these system? since i'm using this one for

portraiture indoor and mostly outdoor, i need for fill in flash.I'm

considering a metz system, like 60 ct1 or lower model like 45ct4,

also i really don't know the difference between cl 0r ct on metz

system, so i don't know if it will work with my c330s.Any other

flash system out there that will work with my tlr?.
