I really like your subject matter, lovely. A bit under-exposed if your main focus is the birdhouse. :~) I don't know how much of a beginner you are, so I will recommend a book that I found extremely helpful in working out my own problems with exposure. "John Shaw's Nature Photography Field Guide" I hope this helps, I always hesitate to say anything negative about anyone's work, so I hope you take this in the spirit it was meant, as a good natured helping hand.

Hmmm.....well I found what I think to be the original of this in your folder. I think I like the original better. I am not one of those who has a problem with using photoshop, not at all, actually I use it alot for my own work, but this effect is not one that I'm fond of. -
Love the bright red against an essentially white background. Nice image! -

This is a wonderful image....beautiful textures, to be enjoyed. Personally I'd love to see a little more contrast and more of that wonderful texture on the post, but maybe that's just me.
