Late in an early day, after a storm. Handheld. See my shadow in the
lower right!
-
I live on the Palouse, and I think you've done a great job capturing to open greenness. The lone tree, the single road, and the isolated grain silo are so iconic!
-
Windy sunset in mid May, trying to allow the flowers to show some
movement.

Not quite winter, not quite spring.
-
Steptoe Butte is a great place to watch the the setting sun move
across and change the landscape.

The man on the bicycle is so perfectly placed to take advantage of the bright pavement. Lots of leading lines--the pavement marks, the tree and the gaps between the trees all lead to him! Bravo.
-
Frozen in time and temperature, these rocks watch as the silky Palouse
River slides by.
-
Watching the shadows creep across the Palouse I was stuck by a shaft
of late sunlight--caught with the "wrong" white balance, I shot anyway.
-
A great place to spend time and to photograph.

The row of windbreak trees is a lot of fun to watch. I plan to capture
them each season, but I always seem to be in a rush when I drive by.

Steptoe Butte, WA-a great place to watch the sunset works its magic.

My first visit to this rather well photographed site.

Excellent! The raking light and the softness brought on by the smoke make this a very strong and emotional picture. The central Lombardi Poplar tree provides a strong focal point. Bravo!
-
Stunning. Excellent placement of horizon-it makes the cluster of buildings seem even more insignificant and vulnerable.
-
I like it. Perhaps cropping out half of the lilly pond would make the panorama seem even stronger and draw the eye a bit more to the hidden mountain peak. Like the strong green mid-ground.
-
Nice silhouettes; would have been better if the taller figure didn't bisect the horizon in mid-head.
-
Tilted horizon, an almost 50-50 split, ghosting and wee bit of over exposure detract from what could have been a good shot. A bit of time in Photoshop can fix all of these "faults".

Wish the leaf was bigger. Great shot

Foreground has too much going on. Takes away from the bridge and the man going down the bridge to the boat

WOW! The fact that the "hidden" half is visible is incredible! BRAVO on a great exposure!

Love how this one leads to nowhere--the air of mystery prevails. Wonderful tone and exposure

A massive April storm blowing into the Palouse country of
Idaho--nothing but a lone Ponderosa pine between us and the storm!
