  5. Daniel Day-Lewis’ “Phantom Thread” (2017) was shot with 35mm Kodak Vision3 500T pushed to 640 and 800 for a very textured look. Details here: Kodak 35mm helped Paul Thomas Anderson spin a potent yarn in… | Kodak
  6. Here you go! It's not as bad as it looks, maybe slightly bulky but very manageable; with the speed grip it works really nicely, and handheld is easily possible with fast (ISO 250 and above) film. Cheers, Allan

  9. Thank you Arthur! The Bronica RF645 has to be one of the best-designed film cameras ever made... very ergonomic, outstanding meter, super-sharp lenses, sooth and quiet operation. Too bad it came out just before the advent of practical digital. And Nashville is great! Lots of music, food, drink, and fun (much like what you see in your last image!).
  10. Most definitely… I sure did and I was there for only one day and one night. So many venues and eateries to choose from!
  11. Welcome everyone to Week 4 of 2022, the Leica and Rangefinders W/NW Thread! Here's a shot of Printers Alley, Nashville Tennessee, with my Leica-like Bronica RF645. Bronica RF645, 65mm f/4 Zenzanon-RF, Kodak T400CN
  12. Joshua Tree National Park, Wonderland of Rocks, High-Speed Infrared Film
  13. Thanks David! Yes, the creek was very still and mirror-like that day.
  14. Certainly! We’re not picky here, it’s all about the images. :)
  15. Welcome everyone to Week 3 of 2022, the Leica and Rangefinders W/NW Thread! Here is a "reflective" view alongside a wooded Maryland trail. Leica M8, 35mm f/2.5 Voigtländer Color-Skopar PII
  16. "The Watchman," along The Watchman Trail, Zion NP, Utah Bronica S, 75mm f/2.8 Nikkor-P, Kodak 320TXP, HC-110B
  17. Thank you Arthur and great portraits as always. I'm not a fan of mid-summer myself and always look forward to autumn.

  19. Welcome everyone to Week 2 of 2022, the Leica and Rangefinders W/NW Thread! As we are firmly entrenched in January, here's a neighborhood winter scene the day after a recent snowfall. Leica M8, 35mm f/2.5 Voigtländer Color-Skopar PII
  20. Awesome explanations Alan, much appreciated! One thing I noticed, while T400CN was on the market, its mask was barely orange at all, more like a pale tan. Its successors, BW400CN and Portra BW400 reverted to a deeper orange mask much like standard color negative film making them more difficult for standard darkroom printing. T400CN was somewhat closer to (but not completely like) XP2-Super in that regard.
  21. Red Canyon, Dixie National Forest, Utah
  22. Outstanding series, proving the versatility of medium format, not limited to just landscapes or the studio.
