Great color and contrast. Perhaps the image could be a bit stronger if it was cropped so that the small flower at the bottom was a little more off center. darkening the background to make the foreground more predominant would help as well.

Appears over sharpened. Good framing with the trees but not sure the image needed it because the sky looks wonderful. I have been to Leeds, it's a great place to photograph.

I think you have a keen eye for street photography. After looking at some of your other street scenes, you have a managed to capture a sense of place in them. As for the pole, it's part of the atmosphere of the scene. I agree that perhaps tweaking the contrast up a bit might make it stronger.
