Guest Guest Posted March 7, 2006 I have felt very like this recently...I think a bit more tension in the hands and arms might express more the sense of being trapped. wonderful tones and fabric choice, Haleh..also the sepia vignetting around the edges! Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted March 7, 2006 Haleh, again the strong feeling of "deleted" personality, no face the only visible part of her gender, is one of THE symbols of famininity. The black net adds to the feeling. Well expressed. Pnina Link to comment
atkphotoworks 0 Posted March 7, 2006 When it rains, it pours Haleh. I just love the wonderful glow in the back matched against the darkness of the material Helena is holding. By the way, nice to see new work with Helena (or previously unposted work). Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted March 7, 2006 Thank you all for stopping by. Lee, I only wish there would have been more tention in her hands...you are totally right. Pnina, you truly can SEE my work and I thank you for it. Amar, Helena is a very mysterious lady so I had to take my time with her images. Link to comment
ivan_dzo 1 Posted March 7, 2006 Haleh, what a supurb portfolio of Helena's images you have. You accentuate the feminine yet there is no sense of exploitation in them. You celebrate and illustrate her beauty. Your use of light and poses is stunning. I usually come up with something to improve but not in this case. Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted March 7, 2006 As I mentioned to Amar, Helena was a rather interesting woman to work with. She was not into the ordinary and maybe that is how her images are coming across. I just followed her wishes. Link to comment
kmgibbs 0 Posted March 8, 2006 The contrast of the netting against her skin is excellent. Beautiful. Link to comment
biancavanderwerf 0 Posted March 8, 2006 Very beautiful, very soft and very mysterious.... Excellent mood, I like it very much! Link to comment
art boughan 0 Posted March 9, 2006 This is an extraordinary image. It is a culmination of your talent, there is a lot of experience and sensitivity that went into producing this. One suggestion though, the name in the lower left, is very distracting. I keep coming back to it, it doesn't help the image. It is an eye magnet. I would rather look at this amazing piece of work. Thanks for posting. Link to comment
haleh b 0 Posted March 9, 2006 The internet can be a ugly place. I am just doing it for protection reasons. Link to comment
snakecharmer 0 Posted March 10, 2006 A very beautiful, very feminine image. The color scheme combines sepia and black and white, something that I would never have thought of doing. I am continually amazed at your wealth of ideas. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 10, 2006 Very sensual and feminine dear Haleh :)and I can really feel she is trapped cause of the net! Love the light-ing and the mysteriousity :) Love your Work Dear :) Biliana Link to comment
sv solomon photography 0 Posted March 23, 2009 This image speaks to me symbolically of that human struggle to break free of troubling habits, burdens or behaviors represented by the netting with the hands trying to find their way out, and an intense desire to thrive and reach ones full potential represented by the uncovered breasts.
