IMO excellent composition...and the dramatic sky is terrific. The way it appears on my monitor, I would suggest warming it slightly and boosting up sharpness. Especially the bush appears soft, but realize it could have been windy. Nice work.

The 50 f1.8 is legendary for its sharpness...and this image attests to it. Excellent contrast and detail.

Rabinder, Thank you for commenting on my image. I really enjoyed looking through your portfolio...interesting especially are these "handheld" shots; they have a nice human connection to them...this one is my favorite, did you illuminate the subject with a flashlight? Best wishes.

Your title describes the image perfectly!! What a great moment you've captured!

Excellent theme and lighting...and that subtle glimpse of his teeth...all I can say is WOW!

Seems almost other worldly, what a varied and beautful planet we live on. Fantastic shot...really works well in B+W.

Feedback appreciated...

I really like the total composition and motion from the pigeon. The sharpness and clarity are extraordinary...and depending upon individual taste perhaps overly so. IMO this would be a good image to experiment with adding grain...I would also be temped to try darkening the background somewhat so it competes less with the subject. Nice work!

Thank you for the details Kristina, very well done.

Really a gorgeous image...did you do anything to illuminate the ruins? Would be interested in any details.

I like the perspective you chose in this image...I also looked at your other uploads, fascinating series!

Thank you Adolfo!

Here's a version I rotated 3.5 degrees which I feel is better balanced. If I'm not mistaken, this image is taken from a high(er) camera angle which I think accentuates any tilt.

I like the pose and the facial expressions appear relaxed/natural. My impression is the composition is a bit tilted to the left...I would recommend rotating 1-2 degrees to the right.

Hi Len, Thanks for stopping by my portfolio! My vote still goes with the 50mm perspective in this series! In this image, I think you had the right idea with the large rock; if only it were a bit more catchy...perhaps you could come back to this location with a few handfuls of brightly colored Fall leaves to sprinkle around ;-)

Len, As an editorial type shot of the bridge's architecture...I think it's fine. However, I also looked at your upload following this one of the same bridge in an off center composition...and think it is artistically superior to this one. In this image there is good detail throughout, but in comparison to the other the colors seem less vibrant and composition a bit top heavy with the column too centered/domineering (for my taste). Perhaps backing off a bit to have included more of the still pool would have helped. Best wishes.

Gorgeous landscape...very effective as a panoramic!

Really, one of the better ladybug images I've seen! The relaxed pastel colors of the blossoms do not compete with the insect as the typical bright greens do, so I am easily able to focus my attention on the subject. The only thing I would recommend trying if you are able to use one with your camera is a polarizer to knock off a bit of the reflection...but as is, it gives it's wings a nice pearlescent quality. Very good effort!

Perhaps a little red, a quick fix would be to go into "Curves"...select the red channel from the drop box...then click your cursor in the very middle of the diagonal graph line and pull/drag down slightly. That will tone down that specific color cast without overly impacting the saturation of other colors. Attached is what I got following this method along with slightly raising the mid tone input in "levels" to brighten the image.

To me, this is just an amazing image...one that brings me pause. Depth, texture and sharpness are just wonderful.

Handsome portrait of this young man...IMO the crop is a little tight on the top of his head. I also notice some halo effect around him (gaussian blur??). I added some contrast in curves and burned in the background a bit as a possibility for you to consider. Best wishes!
